Take a stroll through our haunted forest if you dare!
California was the last frontier of the Wild West, gunfights and sacred Indian burial grounds are practically ghost magnets.
One legend has it that the shadows of a young woman can be seen walking along our river on all Hallow's Eve each year. Watch closely and you might see her walk right over the water as though it was solid ground.
It is also well known that many homesteaders rushed to Trinity County for the opportunity to find gold. Spirits from the Gold Rush era can be seen and heard wandering the Feeling Groovy at Eagle Creek Ranch forest.
One of the most frightening things that the locals don't talk much about, is all of the Big Foot sightings that have been witnessed within our forest. With unexplained scratch marks on trees too high for a bear to reach, unbearable terrifying loud screeches coming from the shadows, along with the sounds of large branches being broken like twigs, makes one think twice about ever being alone at night.
Bring your friends and your family if you dare and take an adrenaline filled stroll through one of the darkest and scariest forest this Halloween.
